The Professional Series pizza ovens are considered the entry level. They are just like the traditional Napolitano ovens with a modern look. The dome is a double wall heavy gauge stainless steel filled with a 4” thick layer of Ceramic Fiber insulation Blanket. This will help in heating up the oven quickly and retaining the heat for long hours. 900°F Thermometer dome mounted.
The ilFornino® F-Series mini wood fired pizza oven has a 26.5" x 30" One Flat Cooking Surface™ - it is made from 1.5” thick refractory stone, same flooring used in commercial ovens. Wood burning pizza ovens heat up in as little as 30 minutes and retain the heat for an extended time. This makes it economical using less wood to burn plus it helps in baking breads, Bagels, and anything that requires floor heat. On average you can cook a pizza in less than 2 minutes.
ilFornino® Mini Wood Fired Pizza Oven arrives seasoned and ready to use. Table-Top oven can be placed on an island or similar support structure. Cooking area is large enough to fit 4 - 10” pies. Love it. Fired it up the first night and it was everything I wanted it to be.
Fantastic product ! From the moment I opened the shipping box, I knew this was a quality product, designed with a lot of thought and care I had been a little concerned that the pizza stone could be cracked in shipping, resulting in a need to return it - absolutely no way this could happen. For my first try, I made two simple pizzas and they turned out beautifully. I watched some of the videos before using it which helped a lot.
When this arrived I was glad that this is the one I got. It comes in a large wooden crate and it takes a good hour to unpack it (with a hammer and cordless drill). take all the screws out (that you can) before you start whacking at the box (this will make it easier to unpack). Give yourself plenty of room to swing the hammer and use the drill. Best to have 2 people when you unpack it, but can be done by 1 person. You do need two people to lift it onto the cart. My wife grabbed one side and I the other. with the handles installed this was manageable. Note that my wife is exceptionally strong for a woman though and not all woman (or men) may be able to lift this. After the oven is on the cart the rest is easy. Only work left is to take the handles off, install the chimney and door peep hole. this pizza oven is perfect size for a family. If I had gotten the bigger one I feel it would have been too large. this thing is perfect. love it. When I was in Naples, Italy I almost bought a local pizza oven there. With the Euro exchange rate it would have been much more expensive than this one, and this one is of high quality and made in US. A win.
I start by saying that the packing and create are intimidating. This is not a small oven. Is heavy but it comes very well protected. It is very well constructed, and heats up quick. Very quick, I burned the first couple of Pizzas I try to make because I did not anticipated how hot it was inside. Great job. I just worry now on how to keep it as beautiful as it is now.
This is a true 900 degree oven. Using good dry hardword, this oven will reach the 900 degree mark in about 30 mins. Try that with a conventional brick or cast concrete oven and it could be hours...or never. A testiment to its insulation and build quality.
I was amazed by the ilfornino delivery timing. They just delivered my oven in 2 days. I will recommend ilfornino.
